Heading back down the mountain
Thanks to the Grandparents for taking the kids golfing and to see the new Shrek movie, so hubby and I could get away for a few hours. We went up to the JQS trail with our neighbors and their new dog "Bernie". The JQS trail is another trail that just opened up a few weeks ago (due to snow) it's in the area that we normally ride. Needless to say we hit a few patches still with snow on it. One spot was very hairy going up we hit this patch that my side of course ended up being inches away from the cliff that headed straight down. Yes my head was in my husbands lap at that time scared to death. ** Picture above : This is the spot that had us all saying "Oh SH--" . This picture was coming back down the trail. Our neighbors have a Razor that is smaller than our Ranger. They did great going over the snow patch. (well Jacquie was still leaning out the door screaming going down too) But, with our Ranger we had to hit the snow part that is farther up and our Ranger was leaning more at a angle towards the cliff that headed down. Note to self: buy a shovel for the Ranger too.
