Daddy making sure Rooster doesn't float away in this creek.
Okay it was safe and dad didn't even have to push him thru it.
Brad and Jacquie's turn
Dad asking Rooster "Now why didn't you hit that mud puddle? You hit all the others" lol
This was taken in front of our house as the helicopter went for more water to put out the fire on the mountains to the left of us.

Here we go again!! This is what our weekends consist of is riding for hours. We started our day off at 10 a.m. with our wonderful neighbors by taking Little Box up to Meadow Lake then thru the mountains we go. We hit old cow camp where there we attempted to go fishing in a little stream. Before leaving hubby spotted the elk in the far distance. Pictures above of how far away they were and my zoom in lens on my old camera got them. They were on the right side of the last set of trees on the left side. During the final ride Rooster hit every mud puddle and snow bank there was. Note to self: make sure to bring extra pair of clothes for Rooster!!! As we were heading home we noticed that the JQS mountain's had a fire going on. We later found out it was from lightning a few nights ago. We are so glad we didn't decide to go up there today. We finally arrived home at about 8 p.m. Long day, but yet another great one with the family.
