Buckwheat started his life with my sister and husband about 13 years ago. About 5 years ago my brother was babysitting Buckwheat and decided he would like to keep him. My sister and husband agreed it was a good idea for him to live at the beach with my brother. My brother took Buckwheat everwhere he went. For the past few weeks Buckwheat's life at the age of 90+ was declining and the best thing for my brother to do was to make it less painfull for this sweet old dog. My brother took very great care of him and he will surely be missed by our whole family.

Thanks Denise. I'm sure glad that Deanne and Jason let this furry monster come live me with for those 5 years. Not sure how I got so lucky to have such a great dog. I know you are going to miss that dude as much as me. I appreciate the post on your blog.
