I hope everyone's 4th of July was as great as ours. We were going to go to Meeker and watch the rodeo and fireworks show, but we loading up the quads and headed up the mountains instead. We thought about it spend $100 + on the rodeo (that we didn't have) or $20.00 in gas. The $20.00 won. Rooster made it up the mountain 5 miles until his thumb was getting tired, so we ended up leaving it parked under a tree with some nice people that was camping. So, Sweetie Pie was with dad and Rooster jumped on with me. We headed up the mountain another 6 miles or so and stopped and waiting for our friends. We also was checking out the clouds that were approaching. Looks like rain and we decided to high tail it back. We put on rain jackets and heading to pick up Rooster's quad. I didn't get any pictures of the trip back to the trailers because it did end up raining and hailing on us, but we didn't seem to mind it was so much fun. Rooster did so good heading back down the mountain he had to hit every mud puddle in sight so much so that I thought we would of had to tow him out of a few of them. After we returned we cleaned up then began to BBQ. While cooking it hit us again "The rain", we hid in the garage till it stopped and then fireworks with the friends.
