Drive day Part 2

Ground Hog (Marmota)
Blue Heron

Tree Squirrel

Prairie dog

This one has a story behind it : We rolled down the windows to take pictures of this huge Turkey. Then we asked Rooster to talk to it. He then goes "gobble gobble gobble" we started laughing so hard because in this picture the turkey was answering him back. So, for a minute or so Rooster and the turkey was talking "gobbling" to each other.

Here are pictures of different animals that we saw over our 3 hour drive. We always get to see deer and elk now for the other animals. We also saw a coyote, but I didn't get a shot off. I think Scott got it with his camera. I wish we saw another moose like we seen a little over a year ago. If you could help me determine what kind of bird is on the rock in the creek. It looks like a stork???

P.S. thanks dad you are right it looks like the Blue Heron. Can you tell I'm not a bird watcher?

Yes, I did take that picture of the groundhog, but the locals call them Marmota's. He was right next to the car. It was cool that he was there for about 30 second's just watching. Also yes I meant to change it to prairie dog, but just never did. I was listening to other people on them being ground squirrels.
