Short weekend

Okay here is the story of our short weekend. We sold our 1973 jeep that we have had in the family since 73 to a guy who lives in Colorado Springs, Co. We offered to take it to him for gas money. He said he would pay us for the fuel, so we decided to make a family weekend out of it. We didn't leave here till about 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning arriving at his place at around 2:30 p.m. with a stop only for lunch. We went thru the famous Eisenhower/Johnson tunnel on our way to Colorado Springs thru Denver. We dropped off the jeep and off to the races we went. Visited the places that follows this post. I can't believe we got to go to the 3 places all within less than 24 hours. We started to head home on Sunday about 1 p.m. We took a different route back home thru Aspen. Which was beautiful and scary because we had the car trailer behind us. I can see why they would close this road during the winter it was very steep and very narrow. Here is a few pictures of the jeep and some views we got to see. Not many of the mountains comeing home because hubby just wouldn't make those vista stops for me. P.S. the old building was called the Barker House in Manitou Springs, Co. which driving thru town this town it was cool because of the old buildings.
