We finally meet up with some old friends from when Rooster went to Greenacres pre-school almost 2 years ago. We ended up going to CALM and had a great time, but the heat was getting to me/us. I think it was 104 when we left. It was a short visit didn't really have a chance to really talk with 6 kids running around, but it was really good to see them again.

After the party the night before. My sister had Father's day at her house. It was sad because hubby had to leave at 5 a.m. so he wasn't able to join us for the food and fun. My brother was great it was him against 5 kids while the rest of us watched. Thanks bro took the attention away from the parents for a while. I also have a few pictures that my brother took. Yes even though my birthday is not for another 6 months. My sister pulled it off without me even knowing. The day started out with Mark getting me away from the house for the day and visiting with friends. The kids even got a little riding in. Made me miss our horses. Then he told me he was taking me to dinner. OKAY, but blind folded "come on" I knew we were going to Woolgrowers. Boy was I wrong. He walked me up the path blind folded, but he had me trip over a step, then ran me into a car. Thanks Honey. WOW to my surprise most of my friends and family was there. I was so surprised that I couldn't help by cry. After a few beers in me I finally loosened up and not by choice had to dance to the great music from the live band my sister got "MENTO BURU". I heard of them in my younger days, but never had the chance to see them. Some of my friends expected COUNTRY MUSIC, but I really had a great time. Midnight finally the last one left and boy was I tired. I wish to thank everyone for comeing. I don't have many pictures of that night from my camera, but here is a few I have from my sister and brother.
I'm really surprised that everyone keeped it a secret. WOW he said he was going camping with our friend. Well he ended up showing up at Kohl's while I was doing some shopping. Putting me 
After my nephews 8th birthday party my brother in-law decided to take us all out to the Duck Club (Ducky Pond as my 2 year old niece would say) It was a great place just to let the kids run and have a great time. I'm only posting pictures that really surprised me on how good they came out. This was even before I asked my brother for the photography lesson.

Well here it goes my sister pulled off another party without a hitch. She had one of her guys cooking and she hired 2 life guards to watch the 30+ kids in the pool swimming. GREAT IDEA for pool parties. I don't know how those life guards were able to watch all those kids. 
A very good friend of mine called and said he was flying by the house I gathered the kids and headed outside. He use to do this when we lived there and the kids would always love it. He also had his camera taking pictures of us.
It was great. My sister had a guy come out to her house and teach swimming lessons.

Well here it comes the first of many posts that was postponed till I returned home. Here is some pictures of our first day in Bakersfield, California with my sister and her wonderful family. I miss them already and I just left yesterday.
