RIP Kadie Girl 1996 to March 25, 2011

March 23, 2011 Morning March 25th Saying good-bye's Kadie 1996 to March 25, 2011 Kadie was groomed on July 2010 and that's when we noticed that she was loosing weight under all that fur. Around January 2011 she started to act not like herself and took her to the vet which told us that she is haveing kidney failure and put her on a special diet with pills to make her a little better for her remaining life. On March 20th she stopped eating and it was so hard for her to get up and waggle that fuzzy tail of her's. I tried everything to get her to eat, but she wouldn't have anything to do with it. So, I made the decision to put her down. Hubby volunteed to do it for me. The morning of I had the kids say their good-bye's and off to school and work we went with our fake smiles and tried to get thru the day. When hubby got ready to take her she wouldn't get up and he had to carry her to the car and into the vet. She was ready. Kadie you were a great dog and we love you and will miss you every-day.

My hubby the handy man. We wanted to do something with the wasted space in the front yard. So, we decided to build a new deck off of the other. He did a fantastic job I think!!!

Camping

March 11-13, 2011

This was an adventure that we will never forget. We wanted to go camping and head up the hill for some 4x4' . Lesson to the California people. When you don't see dirt anymore under the snow turn around and go back. It thru us the roads were still packed with 1-2 feet of snow and we were getting stuck or slidding off the road left and right when the weather started to warm up and snow started to melt. Ranger got stuck and it took hubby a week to get it out and down the mountain.

We decided to again just jump in the truck and take a drive. We headed up the hill to the ice caves and to see how far we could go before we had to turn around.

My sister turned 40 this year and we wanted to plan something special. So, we planned months ago to meet in Vegas and have a great time with no kids or hubby's. We had a fantastic time. Sis got to Vegas the day before I did to relax and get a few winks in before our adventure. Today we just wanted to walk around and hang out. We ended up going to the Shark Reef Aquarium which was cool. For dinner I took Deanne to dinner at the Mandalay Bay "The Mix" on the 64th floor. Dinner was very pricey, but well worth it.

We saw the episode for this just days before we went. They bought this for $150.00 and selling for $995.00. Can you say PAWN SHOP!!!

We started off our day by heading to the famous Pawn Stars. From there we went shopping at the outlet. Almost bought too much to fit in our carry on luggage back home. Had to wear most of it. Ate at T&T Taco's and had a drink and taco's. Very good!! Nap for a little bit. Then headed to see the Jersey Boys. The story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Wow I can't believe I got front row, but how would the guys recognize us after the show when we stopped them for photo's and autographs. lol Got signatures of 3 of the 4 and picture with 2.
