Since Sweetie Pie is a girl scout now she got to watch the flag being raised at school with all the girl and cub scouts. She also was part of the group in the Flag Ceremony Program we had at school. Very excited that she get's to do many new things.

I was the only one up at 6:30 a.m. Couldn't sleep anymore so I watched the sun rise.

About 1/2 mile up the road we had to turn around. Too steep and to icy.

Since buying the new trailer we thought we might want to get one test run in before winter sets in. We packed up the toys and headed to the hills with friends. We had a great time, but wish we could of done more quading. It was also the 3rd season of hunting. Even though there wasn't very many hunters where we were. The guys got to help a hunter that was there alone and got a deer the ridge right below where we were camping. The boys got to watch the guy do his thing before loading it in the truck. The part that really hurts it that this guy shot a momma that had a baby with it. Our men assured me that the baby was old enough to be on it's own because by the time they got to the hunter and deer the baby was still around. When Mark hunts I ask him never to shoot a momma that has a baby with it. That's just wrong

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! We had quite a few kids hit the neighborhood. The were bussing them in. lol We just put up what decoration's we had that day and they were down that night before the rain hit.

Spirit Week at school - Inside out / Backwards day

First snow of the season came about 5 days earlier than last year. Also daddy brought home some meat this day. He got another elk. I will not post pictures because I asked him to take some pictures that didn't show to much blood, but you know men he didn't.

October 25-29, 2010

Monday -Crazy Hair Day was on the 25th. I let hubby go wild on mine because it wasn't doing what I wanted.

Tuesday -Inside out / backwards day was on the 26th. My whole outfit was backwards which of course didn't get a picture of.

Wednesday - Dress as your favorite character was on the 27th. I was Snow White. Kids didn't join in on the fun that day because they wanted to where their costume's on Friday for the parade. Which I don't blame them it was suppose to have been PJ day instead.

Thursday - Cowboy/Cowgirl was on the 28th. We all wore our hats.

Friday - We was to wear our school shirts and bring costume's for the parade was on the 29th.

Got a late start this year on pumpkin carving. We also bought them at the store this year instead of going to the pumpkin patch. We got lazy this year, but will be back on track next year.
