Hunting and playing with dad

September 18, 2010
Today we packed up for a over nighter in the mountains. Dad was still archery hunting and we helped out. Rooster walked with dad while me and Sweetie Pie drove the get away car. He almost got a buck, but the buck got away. Luckily we decided to sleep in the cars instead of setting up the tent. One minute me and Sweetie Pie were at the camp sight and within 1 hour a tree feel over right where we would of set up the tent. GOD was looking out for us. Because the tree feel right where the kids would of been sleeping. Here are a few pictures of the mountains from 10,000 + feet and also of my dirty kids.

Today was our last day together. All of us got up late this morning because of watching movies till after mid-night last night. We ate lunch then I was wondering what to do since we had a few hours to kill before they had to leave. So, I decided that Rifle Falls & Fish Hatchery were only about 15 minutes away. So, we packed in the cars and headed out. We made it back in time for the limo to pick them up at 3. They had a friend that owned a limo service and was nice enough to let them use the limo for the ride to and from the airport. Or else we would of had to take two cars or kept the rental. It was so sad to see them leave. Hope to see you soon. Love ya Stevens Family!!!

Our friend's arrived on Thursday night to stay with us for the weekend. Deciding what to do I saw that a friend of mine went up to this lake last weekend with her girls. I thought the pictures were so beautiful that I wanted to seen it too. So we rented a car and took off all 8 of us up there. It was about a 2 1/2 mile hike round trip "up" hill. We almost didn't think we could make it, but we did and it was so worth it. It was so beautiful.
