This was a cute little town before Silverton, Co. We were going to see the other water fall, but it cost money to see it and well we just didn't have time to see it.

The town of Silverton was great to see. Old building and the train that goes between Silverton and Durango. Pictures of the train will be on the Durango post. Next time we go we will have to take the quads or jeep. Fun Fun Fun. Lots of 4x4 tracks.

About 2 miles away from Silverton was this soooo cool mining shaft. The power went out for a few minute's and well everyone started to scream. It was scary. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face and he had us still walk up the mine. 
We can't wait to come back and explore more of the hills surrounding this ghost town. We might of been able to take my car it had 4 wheel drive, but we don't think it would of been high enough to clear some of the rocky roads. 
This gun fight is put on every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday except during the winter months or if the weather permits. The kids were scared of course. Rooster wouldn't get near the actors. Sweetie Pie didn't want to either, but I talked her into it. Then dad wanted a picture with her, but she only would go to the female actor. 
This was on the drive from Silverton to Durango HWY 550. It was pretty cool and just had to have some photo's of it.
