New floor Dining room

We finally got our new floor today. It took almost 1 year to get it, but it's finally in. To those of you who don't know the problems we have had this past year with a company here. Here is the short version. We hired a company (Pro Style Tile) to add hard wood to our dining room from the kitchen. Well they messed it up and we wanted them to fix it. She refused to fix it and wanted to charge us almost 3,000 more than the original 1500.00 cost to fix. We said "no way" had to take her to court to get the money to have someone else to fix it. We won had to garnish her bank account because she said she won't give us the money until we drop the suit. Did she think we were crazy we would never see any money out of her then. We got the full amount from her bank and hired someone else to fix it. Here are the pictures of before and after. I decided to change it up a bit from what they had in here. I went dark. Hubby was scared at first from my decision, but he likes it. The pictures really don't do it justice, but I thought I would just share with those of you who have listened to me scream and say a few choice words about this for the past year. Finally the little people wins.

Sweetie Pie field trip

Sweetie Pie field trip today with her class. Her teacher Ms. Debbie got her horse, had a lady singing old country songs with her guitar, the kids danced, and the kids had jerky, trail mix and coffee"juice" by the camp fire. This month they are learning about Cowboys and Indians. Sweetie Pie at first was a little scared of being on the horse, but got down to business after a few minutes. Dad was off work today and got to go. Bad idea now he wants another horse and to tell you the truth so do I. Boy do I miss ours.
